Chef Adam Sobel Joins Bourbon Steak Team

Here’s some fun news, Chef Adam Sobel of Rick Moonen‘s RM Seafood (Mandalay Bay, Vegas) will be packing up his knives and joining us here in DC at Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak.

According to the Las Vegas Sun:

Adam will start his executive chef partner duties there next week for our Las Vegas celebrity Chef Michael Mina at Bourbon Steak at the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown. Adam is revamping the menu to his specialty of Modern American cuisine.

What this means for Chef Dave Varley I’m not sure! I DM’d Bourbon Steak on their Twitter account and emailed their PR gal. Will update when I hear back!

UPDATE: Tom Sietsema of the Post reports Varley will be leaving to take “the role of corporate chef at the boss’s Mina Group in the Bay Area, a collection of 18 restaurants (and a bar) scattered around the country.”
