I’ve been traveling a bunch lately, and work has just been insane. It’s left me craving a vacation – and thank goodness I have one coming up. Fortuitously planned in conjunction with my 30th birthday no less. I have five solid days at the beach coming my way and it’s got me craving beachy style homes and beachy style kitchens to cook beachy style meals in.
I want to make stuff like poached eggs over polenta with herby pesto, cheesy pull apart bread, braised coconut spinach and chickpeas and dark chocolate cookie crisps!
I’ll be back later this week with a tasty weeknight meal that has been my go-to for a while now! Hint: it involves roasted peppers (perfect grilling weather) and nutty, crunchy quinoa!
Stay well, dear readers!
PS – Thanks to Jenn of Dear Heart I’ve decided to adopt the Curator’s Code method of attributing photos that aren’t mine. I hope y’all are blogging and attributing responsibly!

Enjoy your well deserved vacation! Just pinned the Curator’s Code. Smart.
There nothing better than a family vacation at the ocean. Topsail Island looks beautiful. I took a brief one in my head while enjoying your pics, Surf citywas our beach of choice when I was growing up.
